The Germans have much better plumbing than the French - the Germans could afford it. Most French buildings are very old: it's harder and more expensive to install plumbing in an old house than in a new one. Incidentally, 9,400,000 homes in the U.S. do not have electricity. 80% of the farmhouses do not have bathrooms and running water. About 3,607,724 homes do not have private flushing toilets. |
