Admissions Anyone who has a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn can be successful at CHIC. Our students range from recent high school graduates, to international students, to professionals ready to make a career change. Are you ready to build a career with Chicago's premier culinary institute? Just say "CHIC." For admission to CHIC, students must complete an application and enrollment agreement, provide documentation of previous education experience (minimum requirements are a high school degree or a GED) and pay the registration fee. Additional requirements, such as placement exams, may be required. Financial Aid Financial Aid is a process that many of our students utilize. Every student needs a plan to pay for his or her education. While some students prefer to pay by cash, many students use financial aid to help with their college costs. At CHIC, financial aid is available for those who qualify and our friendly Financial Aid staff is available to assist you through the application process. We've helped many students just like you.
