Since 1987, We've Helped Students
Fulfill Their Love for Food and Cooking.
There are many reasons that make Connecticut Culinary
Institute (CCI) an exceptional school. First and foremost is
our team of people. The instructors and staff at CCI are among
the most dedicated, professional, and caring individuals
anywhere. As a group, we are committed to the successful
education of each student. We are a small, high-quality
school; we do not let anyone fall through the cracks. You will
be taught in small classes, always by a highly qualified
instructor, and you will spend the vast majority of your time
actually cooking .
Great School .
Great Facilities.
The original CCI campus in
Farmington is a custom-built, 6,500 square foot facility that
integrates four modernized teaching kitchens with the school's
restaurant, Café Mise en Place. The Café is open to the
public, and our students prepare and serve all the food. This
allows students to have a true hands-on experience before
leaving for their externships. CCI students serve, cook and
create for the public's taste buds -- long before
graduation.
In 2000, CCI expanded its educational base by opening up a
branch campus in Suffield , Connecticut -- near the
Massachusetts State line. The 56-acre property is located on
the Connecticut River, just minutes away from I-91 and Bradley
International Airport . The Suffield campus offers many
amenities including student housing and has seven modern
teaching kitchens.
