All applicants are required to fill out an application form for admissions and take the pre-entrance test. To arrange an opportunity to fill out an application, you can call either the main campus located in Farmington, Connecticut (1-800-76-CHEFS) or the branch campus located in Suffield, Connecticut (1-866-67-CHEFS)

To become a CCI student the admissions procedure is as follows:

  • Complete a school application.
  • Interview with an admissions representative and tour the facilities.
  • Take the pre-entrance test.
  • Complete an enrollment agreement and pay an application fee.
  • If the applicant meets the requirements for admission to the desired program of study, the enrollment agreement will be reviewed and signed by the student and admissions representative.
  • Once the enrollment agreement is completed the application is sent to the Director for review. The Director reviews the application to ensure the applicant has met the admission requirements.

Foreign Students

We welcome students from near and far! Foreign Students must meet the same admission requirements as U.S. citizens. Students whose native language is not English may be required to take the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or demonstrate English proficiency through other measures established by the School. An affidavit of financial support should be submitted. Detailed information will be provided through our admissions office. The school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
