CCI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

In addition, The American Culinary Federation (ACF) accredits the Advanced Culinary Arts Program (ACAP).

The Connecticut Culinary Institute is approved by the Connecticut Commission of Higher Education.
